Shure P300 IntelliMix® Audio Conferencing Processor Demo

We’re going to show you to quickly and easily make a 4-way call, using the Shure P300 IntelliMix® Audio Conferencing Processor. It’s important to note that all of the audio you’re hearing is actually coming from the P300 itself. First, we’re going to start with a hardware codec call using analog connectors from the hardware codec to the P300. We have the hardware codec coming into the P300 and the P300 is sending audio to our local reinforcement system. Next, we’re going to bring in Chris using a software codec using the USB connector. For this demo, we’ll be using BlueJeans. It’s important to note that the P300 shows up as an echo cancelling speakerphone in the software. Lastly, we’re going to bring in someone using a mobile connector. So, we have a 3 and a half millimeter TRRS cable. We’re going to plug that into our iPhone. As soon as I plug this in, we’re no longer using the microphone and speaker of the phone, but we’re actually using the input and output of the P300. So, I plug in the cable and dial as I normally would. It’s just that easy. We have 4 people coming in over different means. We have a hardware codec, software codec, or a mobile phone. The P300 brings them all together, does all the echo cancellation and DSP needed.
